For nine days Palaio Amaxostasio O.S.Y. at Gazi will once again become the meeting point for foodies, families, friends, tourists, the most beautiful faces of the city that want to taste the new “street” flavors from every corner of the globe.
Athens Street Food Festival started in 2016 with the aim of making the Athenian public aware of the culture of “street food”. The response of the public was so devastating that the concept of “street food”, from unknown to the Greek public, was spreading rapidly and became the ultimate gastronomic trend in the country!
With over 250,000 visitors in total, Athens Street Food Festival is the largest food festival in Greece, a real institution for the gastronomy of the country. In its first three years, it has been involved with chefs with important biographies and unknown but ambitious creators who have managed to win public trust and then open their own restaurants!
For this year’s fourth edition of the Athens Street Food Festival, the “recipe” remains the same: love for food, careful selection of participants from all over Greece, many exclusives, new ideas and a wide variety of flavors.
